    The Dive Officer will plan and direct all dive operations for the Texas State Aquarium. The Dive Officer will also assist with the training of aquarium staff in CPR, first aid, oxygen administration, AED operation, and dive specific emergency drills, and act as backup instructor for TSA staff certification classes. 

    Requirements
    A Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field from a four-year?college or university is required for consideration with a minimum of three years of professional experience working in aquariums and two years of experience as a supervisor in an aquarium/zoological institution. An equivalent combination of education or experience may also meet the required qualifications.
